I have some good news for anyone who wants to make money from home. You have an opportunity to earn money online by blogging. Okay, now I can almost hear the chorus of people saying that they have not time to blog. However, this is a non-issue because you will not actually be writing your own blog. It will be writing itself. I understand that this makes little sense at this point, but bare with me. Recognize that we live in a day of automation in which the Internet is becoming a larger part of our lives by the year. Thus, it is now possible to make money from home with a blog, which actually adds its own content. Keep reading and I will explain.
Prior to the advent of blogging, certain activities to make money could effectively be carried out on autopilot. However, many of these activities either no longer exist, or are no longer feasible. The good news is that we now have something called "autoblogging" which is making it possible to make money from home on autopilot.
So what is autoblogging? Autoblogging is one of the least complex methods to make money from home. Essentially, it allows you to create a website or blog, and then simply forget about it. Yes, I know that this makes little sense, but the answer resides in the software. Essentially the software mimics the normal activities of a human blogger. It starts with content creation, then moves on to blog publication, promotion, and even commenting.
Now that I have your attention, here is what you are going to need upfront to set up your autoblog.
1. It almost goes without saying that you are going to need a domain name, as well as a website hosting plan. You will need to register your domain name which should run you about $9 per year. The hosting plan is where you blogs and/or websites will reside and be made visible to the public. There are some good inexpensive plans out there. For instance, I pay $3.95 per month for a plan which hosts six of my websites and offers unlimited bandwidth and disk space.
2. Some rudimentary knowledge about how to set up a WordPress blog. WordPress itself will actually not cost you a dime, plus it is actually quite simple. Furthermore, WordPress does an excellent job of providing support through its website and forum.
3. The WordPress autoblog plugin. This is what makes the magic happen. You will come across several plugins, both commercial and non-commercial. Which plugin is best for you will depend upon your requirements. I have used free (non-commercial) plugins, and have experienced no problems. Generally, a plugin with be accompanied by reviews of current users. My suggestion is the choose the free plugin with the highest rating. It takes about one to two minutes to download and install a plugin. Very simple.
Once you have set everything up, you are ready to make money from home with a blog which will automatically publish relevant content. So how do you monetize your blog? There are a few things that you can do. You can place Google Adsense on your website, which is what many like to do. Otherwise, you can sell advertising space, which is another popular choice. Still others like to promote their affiliate products with their blog. Whatever you decide to do is entirely up to you. There is no right or wrong.
